Welcome, Dave Sokol, to our Brass Staff! Dave joins an experienced production team, headed up by Kevin Hendrick. We look forward to great things from Dave!
Great rehearsal tonite! - we're through 8 minutes of our mini-corps show! And only 2 weeks until our Brass Ensemble performance in Brooklyn.
Heidi! GREAT to hear from you; not only a CBE alumnus, but someone who to helped to build the original corps from scratch. Hope you'll stop by.

Great to see you all....I have to see a rehearsal soon....what road in Latham is the Verdoy Fire Dept?? Sounds great...and so proud to see the name out there again represented by people I know and love!!!! Best wishes, Heidi

Wow, The pictures look wonderful. I hope to join soon. Great Job everyone.
Hello evryone. First off i'd like to say what a pleasure it was conducting you all at the Christmas gigs. The group sounded AWESOME!!!! You ALL have obviously put in A LOT of work to get to this point, and i can't wait to hear where we can go from here. Keep practicing over the Holidays so we don't lose any chops we've built up over the past months! I'll be looking forward to getting back and working with you all again soon. I hope you all have a wonderful Holiday season and get the new year off to a great start! Take care 4 now, Kevin.
well I am proud to say we did another great job last night im KINDERHOOK N.Y. it certainly looks like we have a good group of people on board and we will be a big success by this summer. the best part is being able to play in a warm building in short sleeve polo shirts while other groups play in that nice cold outside air at this time of year. we must be doing something right. i can't wait till after the new year to get started on all the exciting things we have planned.
jeff 12/4/06 hey guys and gals grear performance last night at the crossgates mall. just think only about 9 rehearsals and we were able to p[ay 8 tunes, wow what a kick huh? i gues we really know how to get the job done. we just seem to get better and better each time we play, paul what a great job on the solo in sway really awsome, and the lower really rocked on sway. great job peop;e, see ya on thursday.
Great job at the Patroons game last night! The new CB! is off and running
I'm so very impressed with Capital Brass. Ralph and I are having a GREAT time. I really feel challenged playing on an F horn and going through so many charts in just two hours, but MAN, it's so much fun. I actually played tonight more when I got home because I wasn't ready to stop. I think you're a bunch of really great guys and I look forward to this Sunday.
Hey guys! Great rehearsal last night! We ate those tunes up. Mike, come on down...you'll have fun. Hope to see you around soon.
We're grooooooow-ing! 17 horns now! Only 3 rehearsals left before our debut - and JUST 5 SPOTS LEFT! Openings for 1 each: trumpet, mellophone, baritone, tuba - and now a new opening for a euphonium player!
wow what a great rehearsal we had tonight it was great to have five new members. thanks Ralph, Holly, Nate, Ed and Frank see you all next week. lets keep up the good work and we will be awsome on December third at the crossgates mall.
Tom....I am looking forward to seeing and hearing CBE at the debut. Hear good things are happening......Adele
mike, you should come down to play even if you won't be around for a few months. There is nothing here you can't play. It's not hard and its fun to play.
I am so excited to see a form of CB coming back. From everything that I hear you guys are off to a fantastic start. I can't wait to see you play at the first gig!!!!! Congrats on the great newspaper article. All you need to do now is Get out there and knock people's socks off!! See you all Soon :)
John and Tom, Love Sway. Should be a great chart for us. Also, Kevin, nice job teaching the line. You are a pleasure to work with. Learning a lot. Dano
Read through John Arietano's "Sway" tonite - nice writing! Sounds pretty good after the first night - I think we'll be using this one soon.
Thanks for the support and kind words, Mike! We have a number of Capitol Brass Alums on board and we're hopng that a few more will step up to help with this important project.
O.K. guys, I am expecting nothing but balls out stuff from y'all. I know quite a few of you and there's not a weak player in the bunch. If (or when) I wander on down to hear a rehearsal, I'm positive I would be the weakest horn player. Your sound as Brass-o-mania has been awesome!! Capital Brass makes me want to jump in with both feet....but...I now spend three months or more in Florida and would miss out on quite a few gigs and practices....besides, I'm really getting to be an old fogie (true senior citizen now). No matter what though, I want to wish you all the very best of luck in all your endeavors. You're going to be the big name in this part of the state, I am sure. Just also want to say hi to Jeff, Arron, Scottie, Bill (Hoyt), Kevin, and of course, Tom....Go get 'em guys!!!
This holiday season should be all the more special playing with a group like Capital Brass --- Thanks guys --- Having a blast! Dano
wo what a blast we are having at our rehearsals every one is working hard and we are sounding better and better each week. we will surely open some eyes when we debut. lets keep the ball rolling and really make a big impact on the area.we are on the right track. thanks everyone

Wow you guys are sure getting out there fast. Look forward to seeing you.
as a member of the newly formed capital brass i would like to take the time to say what a blast it is to be able to be a part of this new and exciting group. it is a pleasure to be part of something that will grow and become the best thing in the area. all the people we have at the present time really are working hard to make this group successful. i hope more people will come and have as much fun as we are having now' jeff young
We've worked on 19 tunes in 10 hours of rehearsal since 9/20! And, the sound is really shaping up. Great work so far, guys!
Great to see CBE back!!!!!!!!!!!
Hi I have been a member in Capital Brass since September. Having a great time. Those involved up to this point seem committed and are trying to produce a great product. We are now looking to book jobs so if you need an ensemble for your function, let us know. I hope to see more of you at the next rehearsal. See you soon.
